TEE-ROUTE<\/strong>
\nIn den Gemeinden S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s und Porto Formoso haben die besonderen Bodenverh\u00e4ltnisse und die Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von Wasser aus den Wasserwegen, die dieses Gebiet durchziehen, ideale Bedingungen f\u00fcr den Teeanbau geschaffen. Die Produktion und der Verkauf von Tee, die im 19. Jahrhundert begannen, waren (und sind auch heute noch) eine wichtige Quelle f\u00fcr Wohlstand und Besch\u00e4ftigung. Manchmal ist es m\u00f6glich, an der traditionellen Teeernte teilzunehmen und die Fabriken zu besuchen, um den alten Produktionsprozess zu sehen. Am Ende gibt es nichts Sch\u00f6neres, als einen einzigartigen Tee mit einem unvergesslichen Geschmack zu probieren. Heute ist die Teeproduktion nicht nur von historischem und kulturellem Wert, sondern auch weiterhin aktiv, was vor allem auf Investitionen in die Qualit\u00e4t und Differenzierung der Produkte zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Produktion von Gorreana und Porto Formoso liegt.<\/p>\n

DER ANANAS-K\u00d6NIG<\/strong>
\nDie Ananas wurde 1832 auf den Azoren eingef\u00fchrt und gilt dank ihrer \u201eKrone\u201d als K\u00f6nigin der Fr\u00fcchte. Seit 1996 ist sie als PDO (gesch\u00fctzte Ursprungsbezeichnung) Azores Pineapple registriert, wodurch die Eigenschaften und die Qualit\u00e4t dieses Produkts garantiert sind.
\nEs gibt rund 230 Ananasproduzenten mit mehr als 1.500 Gew\u00e4chsh\u00e4usern, die \u00fcber die Insel S\u00e3o Miguel verteilt sind. J\u00e4hrlich werden zwischen 700 und 1.000 Tonnen Ananas produziert. Einige der wichtigsten Farmen befinden sich in Laranjeiras und Faj\u00e3 de Baixo.<\/p>\n

REGIONALES STEAK | AZORISCHES STEAK<\/strong>
\nDas regionale Steak ist wahrscheinlich das bekannteste und beliebteste Fleischgericht auf der Insel S\u00e3o Miguel und wird in praktisch jedem Restaurant der Insel angeboten.
\nDas Geheimnis dieses Gerichts liegt in der Qualit\u00e4t des in der Region gez\u00fcchteten Rindfleischs, in der Regel Lendenst\u00fcck oder Filet. Es wird immer mit Pommes frites und fast immer mit einem Spiegelei serviert. Es ist das beliebteste Gericht bei Touristen und Einheimischen gleicherma\u00dfen.
\nEinige der Restaurants, die f\u00fcr ihr Steak am bekanntesten sind, sind das Galego in S\u00e3o Roque, das Alcides, das Alian\u00e7a und das Adega Regional in Ponta Delgada sowie das Restaurant der Landwirtschaftsvereinigung in Santana, das Rabo de Peixe. Es ist so lecker, dass Sie garantiert mehr davon wollen!<\/p>\n

AZORISCHER FISCH<\/strong>
\nIn den Gew\u00e4ssern rund um die Azoren findet man einen Fisch, der als einer der besten der Welt gilt: den azorischen Fisch. Dieser Fisch wird in alle Welt exportiert und ist wegen seiner Reinheit und der traditionellen Fangmethode sehr begehrt.
\nAuf der ganzen Insel S\u00e3o Miguel kann man guten Fisch essen, aber einige der bekanntesten Restaurants in dieser Gegend sind Mariserra in S\u00e3o Roque, Paladares da Quinta in Lagoa, Bar Caloura in \u00c1gua de Pau, Cantinho do Cais in S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s und O Silva in Ribeira Grande. Immer frisch und lecker!<\/p>\n

BOCA DOCE | S\u00dcSSES<\/strong>
\nVon K\u00e4sekuchen \u00fcber Torten bis hin zu S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten und anderen Leckereien bietet S\u00e3o Miguel eine gro\u00dfe Auswahl und Vielfalt an Desserts.
\nQueijadas da Vila sind typische Klosterk\u00e4sekuchen, deren Rezept urspr\u00fcnglich ein Geheimnis der Nonnen des Klosters St. Andr\u00e9 im 16. Jahrhundert war. Heute k\u00f6nnen wir die Fabrik Queijadas da Vila in Vila Franca do Campo besuchen und diese k\u00f6stliche Kloster-S\u00fc\u00dfigkeit probieren.
\nIn Furnas finden wir Bolos L\u00eavedos und Queijadas de Inhame das Furnas. W\u00e4hrend die Kuchen pur oder als Sandwiches gegessen werden k\u00f6nnen, eignen sich die Queijadas ideal als Dessert oder zum Kaffee.
